libdata-ical-perl software package provides Perl module for manipulating iCalendar (RFC2445) files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdata-ical-perl
libdata-ical-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdata-ical-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdata-ical-perl *
You will get with libdata-ical-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
